WHAT IS ECONOMICS?
Economics is the study of money and markets. Students study social issues and examine them from the perspective of government, a business or individual. Data analysis is used to examine past or present phenomenon to determine future decisions. A background in economics may lead students to jobs in law, finance, insurance, or business administration in the public or private sector. Economists are often found in consulting or economic analyst jobs.
