ESL Classes

Carl Sandburg College will be running a 16-week English as a Second Language (ESL) course beginning on Monday, January 14, 2019. Classes will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday evenings in the Center for Manufacturing Excellence (CME) on Sandburg's Main Campus in Galesburg, 2051 Tom L. Wilson Blvd. Further details to be announced soon.

 

The course if for adults whose native language is not English. Students will be give instruction and practice in speaking, writing and reading in English. Topics will include social interactions, employment, health, banking, housing, schooling and other related topics to improve students' confidence in daily activities. The instructor for the class is Randy Sollenberger.
